NOTICE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Dear Members,

In accordance with the current Statutes of the International Dart Federation (IDF), and with more than ninety (90) days' notice, I hereby convene an Extraordinary General Assembly of the IDF.

Purpose of the Assembly

 

The current Statutes have served the IDF for some years. However, the Board and Member Associations have identified the need to modernize and adapt the governance framework of the Federation to better reflect its current operational reality, future strategic objectives, and international best practices in sports governance.

 

The purpose of this Extraordinary Assembly is therefore to consider and vote upon the adoption of a new set of Statutes for the International Dart Federation.

1. Opening of the General Assembly

2. Verification of attendance and voting rights

3. Presentation of the proposed new IDF Statutes

4. Discussion of the proposed new IDF Statutes

5. Vote on the adoption of the new IDF Statutes

6. Next steps regarding the election of the new governance bodies under the revised Statutes

7. Any other business

8. Closure of the General Assembly

The proposed draft Statutes and supporting documentation will be circulated to all Member Associations in advance of the meeting.

The Executive Board strongly encourages all Member Associations to participate in this important Assembly, which will define the future governance framework of the Federation and establish the basis for the election of the future Board of Directors.
